About Me

My name is Shah Hasan Jr., a graphic designer and photographer born in North Minneapolis, now residing in New Hope, Minnesota. I hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Augsburg University. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including developing the visual identity for the Soomaal House of Art Fellowship, designing posters for the Liberal Arts Engagement Hub residency, and creating the Mapping Prejudice booklet for the University of Minnesota. I've also been freelancing as a photographer since high school.

My journey into design was sparked by my passion for photography, which began with sports photography. Capturing the energy of athletes on the field led me to explore photo manipulation in Photoshop, and before long, I found myself designing commitment flyers for incoming college athletes.

When I'm not designing or taking pictures, I enjoy fishing, walking with my dog, playing video games, and trying different foods. I'm always open to new opportunities and collaborations, so feel free to reach out—let's create something amazing together!
